This has changed a few things, but should fit the characters better. Lawful no longer means how likely they are to follow the laws of the world. It means if they have their own internal laws. —— How @MeadowFoot_ToPH defines Good: Will go out of their way to avoid harming others. Neutral: Won’t try to hurt others, but if it happens, it happens. Evil: Will go out of their way in order to hurt others. Lawful: Likes to always have a plan (overthinker) Neutral: Happy medium (healthy amount of thinker) Chaotic: The plan is to go with the flow (underthinker) Alignments may be subject to change over time as the characters grow and change, as shown from Haze moving from “chaotic good” in the past to “true neutral” in the Starclan timeline. Moral alignment doesn’t necessarily dictate protagonist vs. antagonist, nor does it necessarily dictate if a character is nice or not. Characters also may act out of their alignment in specific scenarios, though they would likely be very uncomfortable doing so. For instance, a good character might hurt someone if they thought by doing so they would be protecting more people.
