In WW1, Manchuria was mostly neutral until 1917. Shortly collapse of Beegeestan, the western powers imposed a series of demands on Manchuria. Some being -Halt all trade with Trithersta -Allow allied troops through Manchuria Naturally, Manchuria rejected these, putting them at war with the west for the next year. Manchurian generals had the genius idea to not bum rush enemy lines, resulting in much lower losses. As of 1936 Manchuria remains rather dormant in all operations.
