press space or click to go to the next slide! hey guys! i've been wanting to start a comic that i will actually continue recently, because on my other two accounts i created countless comics that i didn't even know where the plot was going. i'm really excited to start this new comic series because it goes over a really serious topic that i don't think many people think about, or they realize it but don't think anything about it. i've had this topic in my mind for a few months now, and i really want to create it into a story, so here we are! i know what i want to do for the main plot, but i need more characters to tie into the story and add onto plot details, so this is why i need help from you guys to create cameos! i have many ideas for characters myself that i haven't created, but i feel like it would be fun to incorporate the audience into it. plus, having cameos made by you guys can help you feel like you're included on the message this story i want to tell through this comic series is trying to tell. it's like those story games where you're in it and it tells a deep message through the game. that is what i'm going for in this comic. i am unable to give any more information to this comic series i am going to make other than the fact is has things to do with the mind, emotions, and people's deepest feelings only they know. aside from that, the rest of the plot is not yet set in stone, so i cannot tell you. right now, i need some major characters, minor characters, and side/background characters. - [ the rules ! ] - 1. no animals other than feral cats! (4 paws on the ground) 2. human-like or semi-human-like names only! i don't want names like cookie, shortcake, branch, etc. good examples: iveline, oliver, molly, amber... 3. semi-simple to simple designs! they need at least some sort of pattern but not too complex. no singular colored cats with no patterns. good examples: splotches, stripes, speckled, rosettes. 4. no bright colors like bright red, pink, blue, green etc. stick to realistic cat colors, or dull your colors. cat breeds are great choices for your characters! 5. if choosing to do a cat breed, do something to make your character stand out than just being the cat breed. for example, gala, the character in the slides is a tabby cat that has half grey fur and half beige fur, and the thing that makes her stand out is her flower. add accessories, different colors, and add more or less fur to make them stand out! 6. give them one SPECIFIC physical or mental trait that helps them stick out. the examples i used in the slides were fluffy wings as a physical, and very intelligent as a mental trait. 7. do NOT make the trait overpowering. these aren't super powers. they are almost like adaptations for your character to help them in their environment, or can mentally help them in some way. for more information on traits, go down to notes and credits! 8. i will only accept a cameo if it is REMIXED! with the right information! for your cameo, you will draw a fullbody of your character. feel free to make a ref-sheet. it is helpful, but not required. give your character a name, and a distinct personality. give them character traits, and even better, feel free to give them a backstory if you're feeling ambitious. tell me their pronouns, their trait, and sexuality is optional. (let me know if they can have a love interest!) 9. let me know if you are okay with your character being dead. saying yes does not mean your character will be dead. you aren't obligated to say yes if you aren't comfortable with that! (this question will help decide your role, but isn't the main thing that will choose.) 10. is your character okay with being "bad"? don't feel obligated to say yes. this does decide your role so let me know honestly! there is no definition of what is "bad" in the series to explain to you guys yet because it'll give the whole plot away. 11. you can make up to 2-3 characters ONLY if you want! (make sure your cameo is a remix, and you can either make a ref sheet or just the design of your character and tell me their characteristics in the description! ^^) not following these rules show u didn't read them, and i will not accept your cameo if they are not followed. sorry !!!! if you have any questions, please let me know!! i may have missed some details! feel free to share with ur friends so they can make cameos too! im so excited to start this comic <3
all art by me @gooseberrii gala (cat in thumbnail with flower) made by @ccoycoyote music- pokemon route 201 (the only music i have in my backpack lol) thank you to my biology teachers for teaching me about evolution i wouldn't have gotten my idea for these traits without them loll ____________________________________________ traits further explanation: i didn't really want to have everyone have a specific trait, but it is needed for the plot and i feel like it helps people feel special and know there is something different about them! but really other than that there is no relevance, and don't think too deeply about it. i just didn't want the protagonist to randomly have this really eccentric thing about themselves and everyone else is normal because that wouldn't make much sense and i wouldn't know what to say on how they randomly got it. (please try to be specific with your traits!) traits: traits are usually passed down by generation genetically, so for example if a mother has wings it could be passed down to the child, but that is not always the case. traits can sometimes be randomized, and some aren't even born with them. if put in a specific environment for long periods of time, it can form as an adaptation for the environment, such as big claws to climb up mountains. someone can only have 1 trait, physical or mental. traits are not something that exists not to be helpful. they do come in some sort of use. physical traits: usually passed down genetically has the chance to evolve over time if not born with it can range from wings, to large claws, etc.. physical traits have to be something that is distinctive. if you cant tell what the physical trait is, it isn't a trait. they are usually extra body parts or bigger/smaller body parts. they are attached to them (unless if they are super tall or super short for a trait. ) for example: wings, fish body parts, big/small ears. mental traits: sometimes passed down genetically usually randomized (not passed genetically) has to already be born with it, but sometimes the trait will not be known until later. for example: it may take years for someone to realize they have telekinesis powers. it could randomly just happen one day, and some don't realize their trait ever if it isn't visual. mental traits are something they can do with the mind or their senses. example: illusions are made with the mind (if u have questions about these, ask me! ^^ )
