Once, when packs were still forming, there was a black wolf, the color of moonlight. She was in a pack called Everpack. This story takes place in a time when there were five packs, after all. Her name was Moonswift. Moonswift was in love with a wolf called Championpelt. One day, an enemy pack declared war and a battle raged for months. In the battle, Championpelt was killed. In her sorrow and fury, Moonswift tried in vain to stop the war. Somehow, with unknown powers, she succeeded. But on the last day of her noble life, she tried to stop a fight between two wolves. One of the wolves pounced, sending her flying off a cliff. Everyone avenged Moonswift by killing the wolf who was her downfall. They named her The Moon Goddess and leader of the new pack, Starpack. The pack every wolf will go to when they die. Moonswift led a noble and selfless life. And she is now the noble and selfless leader of Starpack.
