Instructions

It’s a good idea to read the rules first \/ Yellow elbow is a card game that requires zero strategy or decision making. Each player takes turns placing cards, and if a face card is played the other player has to play a number of cards depending in the face card. Aces are 4, kings are 3, queens are 2, and jacks are 1. They stop playing cards after they’ve played the corresponding number of cards, or they play another face card to which the opponent responds in the same way back and forth. If a face card isn’t played within the proper number of cards, then the hand goes to the bottoms of the deck of the person who played the face card. Whoever doesn’t have a card to play when they need to loses. For example: Player 1 plays a king Player 2 plays three times or until they get a face card or an ace. They played a queen Player 1 plays twice because of the queen but didn’t play a face card or ace. The cards go to player 2 If you want to play this with a friend, you could also add whenever 2 of the same card or a sandwich (card a, card b, card a), then whoever slaps the pile gets it anytime during play, just to add a little skill to the game.
