Devils Chapter 3 This had to be a prank it was close to the book and well my family…it couldn’t be real. It felt like the world was ending my chest was tight and it felt like I could barely breathe, yet I was hyperventilating. “It’s okay Emma we're going to get them back.” Ava’s voice said, “So you know where they are?” I desperately asked looking at Ava, but no one responded, “We're going to someone who knows where.” Ajax finally said, “And we’ll get the information out of them.” Ava said. “I’m going.” I said, “It's not safe for you, you better just let them do it.” Mrs. Haulwinter said, gently stopping me from standing. “Please I need to go I can’t wait here and do nothing,” I responded forcing myself up. “Fine by me,” Ava said, I looked at Ajax but he just sighed and folded his arms. “Ava, are you sure you can keep her safe?” Mrs. Haulwinter asked. “Yes ma’am.” Ava responded giving her a salute and I believed she could protect me after all she already did once, “And Ajax?” Mrs. Haulwinter asked, “Fine, Ava go get it.” Ajax said with a sigh, and Ava disappeared. “What’s Ava getting?” I asked, “Something to hold the tracker.” Ajax replied the moment Ava entered the room again. “Here you go Ajax.” Ava said handing something to Ajax, “Ava why’d you get this one?” Ajax loudly asked holding out a heart-shaped locket. “It was the only one left.” She replied with a smirk, “So what’s that exactly.?” I asked, but Ajax’s just ripped out a strand of his hair and put it in the locket. “Ajax can track his DNA so we each have one in case we get…lost,” Ava said. I looked at the locket with Ajax’s hair, “You mean I have to wear a heart-shaped locket…that I got from Ajax?” I asked, Ava just nodded as Ajax handed it to me, “Don’t think anything about it.” Ajax said as I grabbed it, “Never would.” I replied sure he was good-looking looking but…he was pretty sulky. “So I get to go?” I asked turning to Mrs. Haulwinter. “Yes, but stay with Ava and Ajax at all times and you need to learn a few drills before you leave.” She said, “Drills?” Ajax said, “Great this is gonna be awesome.” Ava said
