Guys, I have the most juicy story ever. You are so going to want to read this. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Background: - Our chorus teacher left over the summer and they couldn't find anyone to replace her in time, so we got a permanent sub. I'll call him Mr. S. -At our school, we have Flex right before lunch to go to any meetings for clubs or just get work done. Flex is 20 minutes, and so is lunch. - Our school is one building, preK-12 DAY 1 FRIDAY 1/10/25: My best friend, E and I were hanging out in the band room in one of the practice rooms while 5/6 had band outside. When the lunch bell rang, me and E went to go get lunch. When we got back we saw the HIGH SCHOOL principle conducting the band instead of Mrs. D (Band teacher). We were really confused and we just thought that she was in there because the kids were being really loud. We then left to go to science. DAY 2 MONDAY 1/13/25: I get to school and E tells me that Mr. S left. I looked at her and was confused. I really liked Mr. S, I didn't think that he would just leave out of the blue, without telling us. She told me that his last day was last Friday. I sit down and start talking with my other friends. B's Nana works at the school and she told me that her Nana saw Mr. S being escorted by one of the janitors. We thought this was crazy because Mr. S was too nice to do anything bad enough to be escorted out of the school. Later that day, I had drama rehearsal and Mrs. D was there and told us that Mr. S RESIGNED, and was no longer working at the school. Me and my friend all agreed that Mr. S didn't resign, but probably got fired for doing something wrong. DAY 3 TUESDAY 1/14/25: My Dad works at the same school so I asked him about what happened and he said that all he knows is that Mr. S did actually resign. I came up with this conclusion: Mr. S did something so bad that he had to be escorted and before he could get fired the next day, he resigned from the job, explaining why he didn't know/tell us that he was leaving. I tell my friends my story and then B told me that her Nana also saw that Mrs. D was told to go up stairs (high school) while Mr. S was taken out. Then E said that it had to have happened while we were in the band room. She said that it would explain why the principal was conducting the band instead of Mrs. D. Then I said that It must have happened while we were out of the room getting lunch because we didn't see Mr. S at all. This is the story we ran with: While E and I were out of the room, Mr. S did something bad to a student / teacher so he was escorted out while Mrs. D was taken out so she didn't have to see. We got back and saw that Mrs. D and instead saw the principal teaching band class while someone else took care of him. DAY 4 WEDNESDAY 1/15/25: ( Nothing really happened on Wednesday, but it does have a good point) I was talking to E about what happened, trying to get a better story when someone in my class pointed out a possible reason for why he was gone. He said that he was taking pictures of music, illegally... if you know what I mean, but we don't know for sure. This is all I know for now, I will update when I get more info. EDIT 1/19/25: Guys I finally know what happened, and it's not that juicy. Mr. S found a new job and left without telling us and packed his stuff up on Friday and left. The janitor was helping him take his stuff out to Mr. S's car. Sorry that there's not much drama after all...
