Okay, I've got a little theory for y'all So I started coming up with this idea when we were reading a short story in ELA and I thought it kind of reminded me of this. So basically, I think that every member of the clan has been in Loam's position before? I guess that doesn't make since so I have to explain. Notice how Loam isn't completely gray-scale? Except for one thing: Their eyes. Throughout these last few chapters though, Loam has been becoming a darker color, which might have to do with it. I believe that all of the other clan members had fur colors, similar to Loam, but they changed. As they changed, they began to forget what was happening and calmed down. I do notice that Loampaw isn't very "calm" about the situation. Yet. The next part of my theory is Frankie. Frankie is not from the forest. And they aren't grey-scale either. And that's because she hasn't been in the forest long enough. Note that on the cover picture, one of Frankie's eyes isn't pink. I think that changes when she spends more time in the forest. So my theory is this: Loampaw didn't come from the clan at all. But over time, they started changing to a grey color, starting with their eyes. Plus, they don't have parents in the clan either (that I noticed). And as they change, they forget about where they came from entirely. And they believe that they were always from the clan. That's the end of my theory! Theory was inspired by "Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed"
