★Meadowkit as the RC medicine apprentice ★ Meadowkit is an oc I've developed for a medicine cat storyline, despite being able to work well as a warrior. Here are some reasons I have for him as the riverclan medicine cat apprentice. 1: Meadowkit would be extremely devoted to assisting Mapleshine. As a deeply caring cat, Meadowkit would be quick to notice when she would need help, and swoop in to quickly assist. 2: Meadowkit would be devoted to caring for the clan. Meadowkit is an anxious mess, there is no way around it, but being put in a position where he is capable and ready to help his clanmates would help him develop his confidence muchly. 3: As such an anxious cat, Meadowkit's main priority would be caring for the clan rather than observing and speaking with Starclan. He would be moderately uncomfortable with the responsibility of the messages of his ancestors on his shoulders, but would pursue knowledge and interpret his dreams when necessary. As such, his main priority would be focused on herbs and treating those that are injured and sick 4: Meadowkit, as such a caring cat, would struggle far more with the concept of being a warrior, struggling both in the hunting of prey and the fighting of other cats, for fear of hurting others. 5: Yes, Meadowkit is currently, well, a kit. About 4 moons old to be exact. However, it would likely be easier to recruit him rather than a cat that is already an apprentice. He could begin with basic recreational learning as a kit, and would not require a period of adjustment or mentor rearrangements like a regular apprentice transitioning would. In summary, Meadowkit's deeply caring and devoted nature, despite his lack of potential as a warrior, would serve the clan well as a future medicine cat apprentice. ★ I, myself, SadYTwatcher, have had many years of roleplaying as medicine cats, and I am well versed on the traditions and herbs necessary to work with. I will also commit myself to being a more active and helpful scratcher to assist with the roleplay ★ Thank you for your time reading!
