Hello Crossover Clashers! Joshuapuffles here! I know it’s been quite a while since I’ve shared anything relating to Crossover Clash, but now I feel like it’s a good time to try and begin the rebooting process of my neat little collaboration project with you guys! (Note: Only close friends of mine can join Crossover Clash, just so there aren’t too many people involved in the project that I don’t know about. Sorry about that…) Just in case you guys need a recap on what Crossover Clash is, it’s basically a hypothetical game project based on Super Smash Bros except with my friends’ characters! That means I’m not really planning an actual game but just a fun collaborative project that we can involve our characters in and create cool concepts. But this time, instead of starting off with making the movesets of the characters like before, now we’ll start off with planning the story mode of Crossover Clash! It’ll kinda be like the Subspace Emissary of this hypothetical game in a way. We’ll need to come up with the main setting of the plot, which I’m thinking could be a multiverse which connects all our characters’ universes together. Maybe there could be a big bad boss who takes over this multiverse place and causes havoc in each of the different universes, leading to all the characters being sucked up into portals and getting involved in this huge mess. Now they’ll have to work together to save everyone, restore the universes to normal, and stop the big bad guy once and for all! I know that planning this story mode might take a long time and a lot of effort, but I’m sure we can do a good job at it if we work together and use our creativity! Right now I haven’t officially added anyone to the reboot studio yet, but that’s about to change! For any close friends of mine who want to join this rebooted project, just comment below any characters of yours that you wanna use in this project and I’ll add you in! Please try not to include too many characters in your comment so we can try to make the roster a bit smaller than before, just list the ones you are most definitely certain about and already have some attack ideas for. For me, I’m definitely certain on using Joshua, Lemur Jack, and Lanky, though I’ll obviously add some more of my characters later on. Don’t worry, the Character Sign Up project is still coming soon so you guys can sign your characters up for the roster and be able to make movesets for them! I’m still trying to make the movesets simpler and easier to understand than before, so I hope you guys are looking forward to it, and please be patient and understand! You know, if you want to… But that’ll be later on, cause now we’re gonna be focusing more on the story mode and which characters we might wanna use. I can’t wait to see all of your ideas!
