https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/800131/?page=1#post-8335156 headcannons: - koko will wear a ton of accessories. he likes to feel as glamorous as possible. he tries to stand out as much as possible. - he will try and push himself as much as possible in everything he does, especially training. pop wants to be able to outskill his peers in everything that he /can/ do. - kākāpōkit's disablility will not upset him in anyway at all. he never really thinks negatively about it and enjoys the attention and sympathy that he may get for it. sometimes he may even fake being discouraged by it, just for some extra attention. - pop will be rather muscular, with large paws; a lot like a kākāpō. when fighting, he'll use his wings to shove others out of the way. - kākāpōkit will be a skilled climber. he'll use his wings to help him climb. this trait is also inspired by the kākāpō, haha.
kākāpokit is based off of real kākāpō! i was listening to a doc (nz department of conservation) podcast the other day of kākāpō too. it was really interesting actually! it taught me lots about the true behaviours of kākāpō that have been viewed by people who manage them and care for them. i really recommend that you listen to it! its awesome.
