Instructions

The Scratch equivalent of 1963 was most likely a plastic computer called the Digi-Comp 1. It really worked, cost only $7, and you could program it to play the game of NIM. It's logic is what you can see in this project. You can watch the computer think while you play this game of NIM. The instructions are given in the game. I really like getting comments. Even if you try it and it makes no sense or does not seem interesting I'd still like to hear from you. And does anyone have a comment on my calling this the Scratch of 1963? https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1727884/

Description

Historical note: Individual parts of this had been uploaded in 2011 for a special Scratch feature called "Clutter". However I never uploaded the whole assembled thing, probably because of the Scratch 1.X size upload limit. Music: Kevin MacLeod (Click on the Green Flag to start or restart).
