Noticing that rue was drifting off again she repeated the name. “ rue? “ Rue jumped and his golden yellow eyes met her’s. He examined the variety of flowers, all colourful and peppy, yet he couldn’t find one that sparked his interest. “ calla… they are all to perish one day… what is the point of flowers… “ Said rue in his monochromatic tone. “ it’s about living in the moment… and not stressing about what’s to come! “ She bent over and plucked a white flower off of its plant. She uphold it to rue, seemingly in awe with its magnificence. “ why are you showing me that… “ Rue took a step back, uncomfortable with such close contact. “ brighten up, would you?.. which one of these flowers are your favourite? “ Questioned calla. Rue scanned the rows and rows of vibrant plants, looking for one that he actually liked. His eyes stopped upon a rose hidden and deprived from sunlight. It was frail and dying. He plucked it off of the roots, ignoring the fact that the thorns were digging through his skin. “ this one.. I like this one. “ Calla stared at rues hand, blood was dripping down his arm but he didn’t seem to care. She slowly walked over and gently took the rose from his hands.
