WARNING: Songs such as ‘and the hound’ include themes such as de@th. It is mentioned as well as c0rpes. You have been warned. I…am obsessed. Yaelokre (pronounced yellow-cray) is a songwriter creating stories based around world centered around whimsical folk music callled meadowlark. It has characters and a world to explore. The characters are featured in album covers and illustrated versions of the songs found on yt. They are young children known as the lark, singing and preforming together. I have bought merch, listened to over 400 minutes, drew the characters, planned out a cosplay, made an OC… And got into the music 3 days ago. (I am writing this Jan 9, 2025, so I got into it Jan 6, 2025. Just wanted to clarify that.) Meet Willow! The ref is self explanatory, but I’ll give a brief backstory. As a child, Willow was fiercely protected by her mother, and shielded from the outside world. Often, she would stare out the window, watching the birds sing. Willow learned to be good at math, reading and science, as well as joined clarinet, choir and writing classes. She always suspected her mother didn’t want her too curious, so she put her in many classes. After a while, she heard of a traveling band of children called the Lark. She made her own mask, packed up her stuff, and ran away. Willow ran and searched the streets before running into them. After a while, they did warm up to her. She now plays the clarinet and helps with singing and songwriting. She is incredibly paranoid of her mother seeing her, so she wears her mask at most events including more than just the rest of the lark. Song is Hartebeest by (you guessed it!) Yaelokre save me JK!! :D I’m fine my obsession isn’t THAT STRONG It is. I was lying.
