The M55 is a very interesting rifle. Rather than use an intermediate cartridge, it uses 8mm Manchu, a bolt action round. Only 40,000 were ever built, making this rifle extremely rare. The Manch army turned a significant profit by selling these to foreign collectors and Manchu civilians. Overall, they are best distinguished by the bolt size and straight mag.
