Btw, just a warning, it might be long. Alright, here we go. I first joined scratch for school. My 21st century teacher made us. At first I thought it was so boring, with boring coding, and stuff much too complicated for my little mind. But then one day changed it all. Me and my friend were in the same class, and one day she was absent. Naturally, I was bored since she was my only friend in that class. I did my assignment, and after that I had free time. So I decided to look at scratch. I scrolled all the way down to the bottom of the page, and what I saw shocked me. At what the community was loving page was a warriors project. A WARRIOR CAT PROJECT!! I was so excited. I had been a fan of warriors for six years! I clicked on the project, and started to read. It turned out it was a warriors comic, and it took a while, but I eventually figured out how comics work. After that, everything was different. My school account was deleted at the end of the year, so I figured, hey, why not make another account? I made this account, and started to use scratch more and more. Just on the surface of scratch, it seems so boring. But when you dive deeper into it, there’s so much more to it. The art world of scratch. The art part of scratch is beautiful and amazing. It’s scratchers using their creativity to the most. I know I’m not the best artist, but I instantly fell in love with this amazing world. So why would anyone want to ruin it? People are using ai art and saying it’s their own! Scratch was founded so you could be creative and use your brain. Ai is the exact opposite of that. People who Actuly made the art are being blamed that it’s ai! Really, it’s horrible. Now, onto another issue. Scratch is banning users for absolutely no reason! Now trust me, I have nothing against the scratch team. They try their best to keep order, and I can understand how hard it can be. But seriously? Just because someone reports an account or project, doesn’t mean you have to ban them or get rid of the project. The most known case of this is Moss_ Shadow. Why? Just why? They never did anything to offend scratch. They followed the guidelines. And yet their projects got deleted. Their account got deleted. And they never even did anything! If you don’t like their projects, just don’t go on them. Another thing. The amount of scratchers that have left because it’s not safe is unbelievable. Adults saying that their kids. Yes , I know scratch is 7+, and that doesn't mean adults aren’t allowed. It’s just the fact that these disgusting people are lying about their age! I’m a preteen, and I really don’t want to know about some of these things. Listen, I’m so sorry if I’m ranting, but every night I lay awake in my bed, thinking the day over. When I wake up I check scratch. Before I go to bed I check scratch. During school, whenever I have time, I check scratch. Scratch is an amazing part of my life, and it hurts me to think that it’s changing in such a bad way. I haven’t even been on it for a year, and it’s changed my life so much. I wouldn’t be who I am without it. So please, I’m begging you. If you want to make a change, remix this project. I hope that the future generations of scratchers don’t have to worry about any of these problems, because we have overcome them. Remix. Please.
