A c0dew0rd is hidden here... Silverstar shivered, the fat droplets of rain sliding smoothly on her slick coat. The solo patrol she had started around sun-high was caught in a storm. Although at that time the clouds were only slightly threatening a drizzle, let alone a downpour. In fact, just a few moments ago the sun was shining high in the sky. The sudden change of weather was definitely not what the silver tabby had expected. Ignoring her thoughts, Silverstar tried to hurry back to camp before she caught a sickness. C0dew0rd is foliage, hide it well. Leaf-bare was approaching, and a sickness in camp along with a shortage of prey was not something on Silverstar's agenda. She quickly scanned the terrain for any signs of patrols also caught in the gale. A weak, trembling squeak stopped her in her path. She looked to her left, perking her ears in the direction of the feeble call. The noise led her to the shore, where the waves crashed onto the rocks dangerously. “A cat could get hurt in those waters, no wonder someone is calling for help,” Silverstar mumbled to herself as she slowly ascended down to the shoreline. When she reached the edge of the rocks, her eyes caught on a bundle of blue and purple getting tossed and turned in the water. Gasping in shock, Silverstar raced into the cold, sharp water. She could hardly believe they were still alive. The cold waters and raging waves surely would have gotten a fully grown cat Ill, if not getting a one way trip to StarClan. Four kits stood trembling in the waves, staring at the SeaClan leader in fright. “I won't hurt you. I am Silverstar, a member of SeaClan,” She whispered, trying to soothe them into trusting her. They needed her, and a warm place to help raise them, and she needed them. She was starting to forget the feeling of love, ever since Pearlhaze's sudden disappearance. Though that empty spot in her heart could be filled by no one, these kits would give her a purpose, something to truly care for.
