Fiona The Cat 2 is a sequel to Fiona The Cat for the NES. Fiona The Cat 2 is also developed and published by Konami for Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, Nintendo Entertainment System, Master System, Atari 7800, TurboGrafx-16, Sega Genesis and Game Boy, all versions were released worldwide unlike the last game. The game is a 2D platformer with a side view perspective, like the last game, but the player can now pick up objects and enemies and use them to defeat more enemies (Similar to Super Mario Bros. 2). The top-down map from the first game is gone, and now once the player completes a level, they go to the next stage. The racing levels are back, these levels are now accessed by collecting big gold medals and then completing the level normally, the player then is sent to a racing level. They are now top-down and now only give a 1up if the player completes the level successfully, if not, they get nothing and are sent to the next platforming level.
