Fiona The Cat is a video game based on the cartoon of the same name, developed and published by Konami for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Entertainment System, Master System, Atari 7800, TurboGrafx-16 and Sega Genesis (However the last 2 version were only released in Japan). The game is a 2D platformer with a side view perspective, similar to Super Mario Bros., the player can walk, run and jump. The player starts the game in a top-down map where they must find a way to enter the first level, similar to The Legend of Zelda, after completing a level the player is sent back to the map, where they can enter the next level or go back to one of the already beaten stages. The player on the map can find bonus racing levels, the levels are similar to Excitebike and in these, Fiona must race against 3 other cats, the levels are optional to complete for a casual playthrough but are required for a 100% completion. If the player completes the game 100%, they are rewarded with text after the credits roll. The text says 'Thank you for completing this great game, Fiona will return in Fiona The Cat 2! -Konami of America'
