I’m writing way too many therian stories right now *sob* but I’m starting another one! This story will be collaborative. How it will work is, if you want to join, comment on this project and ask to join! I will create a chapter order. When it’s your turn, remix the chapter before yours and write your chapter in the remix! Each person will create their own character. Their chapter will be from the perspective of that character. All of the characters will meet eventually. Your first chapter should be kind of like an introduction chapter for your character, but they can meet other characters during that chapter! Your character should be an alterhuman of some kind. They can already be awakened or awakened sometime during the story. I’d love it if one character just moved in to the town, but I think more than two characters having just moved in is a bit too much. I have already made a cover, but if you want to make a cover for your character, feel free to! Rules: 1. Writers cannot be queerphobic, racist, sexist, or, obviously, antitherian or antifurry. If you want to include a bully character, they cannot be racist or sexist. 2. Please include trigger warnings for gore, death, and anything you think needs to have a trigger warning. Also, I see a lot of SUPER antifurry parents in stories like these, so if a parent’s going to be yelling at someone about furries, put a trigger warning. 3. This isn’t really a rule, but please don’t make your main character a Mary Stu/Gary Stu. That’s just annoying. 4. Please keep everything 8+. Everything must follow the scratch community guidelines. Chapter 1 Ashlyn/Ashy I quadded to school happily, holding my fox stuffy in my mouth and making pawprints in the snow. Today was our first day back to school after winter break. Everything was going perfectly, and then… Suddenly something shifted in me, and I leapt into the snow and started rolling around in it and trotting through it. My ears twitched on top of my head happily and my tail was wagging behind me. I could hear some people talking, but I couldn’t understand anything. For all purposes, I was just a little critter. Suddenly I saw someone standing above me. “You ready to go to school?” They said. “Awoo!” I replied, before snapping out of my shift. Standing above me was my best friend, who happened to be an alterhuman too. “Sorry, just a strong shift. What’s up?” I said, standing up and looking around. “Oh, I guess I was closer to the school than I thought.” “Exactly. Come on, let’s get inside..” they said, motioning inside. I dusted the snow off of me and headed in, holding my fox stuffy. “So, I heard there’s a new student coming today.” My friend said. “Huh. I hope they’ll be alterhumans/supporters!” I said happily. The bell rang. “Oh, I gotta get to math.” I said. “Bye, see you at lunch!” Time goes by fast in this school, because before I knew it, it was lunch break already. I was outside in the snow when I caught a glimpse of something- a furry tail, the likes of which I’ve never seen before. Before I could think more about the tail, I shifted. Again. I was rolling around in the snow, barking. All around were people, too many people. I growled and then started barking again. Everyone was staring and laughing, but I didn’t care. That was when I saw the tail again. “Hey, tail person!” I said, chasing them on quads.
