yello people! i got back from my christmas trip to a load of messages (thank you guys i love talking to yall) but also, on Jan 1st my network got banned for some reason but the scratch team was very gracious and allowed me to be unbanned, otherwise it would've been permanent O.O anyways i had a great Christmas break and school starts in a few days for me. ive been drawing alot recently but i keep hitting blocks in my art so that sucks. ive watched so many yt shorts to get inspo and its helped alot but one thing I feel that is limiting me is that i dont watch alot of artistic shows or shows in general. ive seen stranger things and GOODNESS it was AMAZING so im going to be doing drawings of that hopefully. watching shorts and stuff has really helped me realize that i can and should draw stuff that i see. Shows, video games, and other stuff. Stranger Things and Rain World have been top for me rn along with Grounded (which will be SO FUN to draw and is such a W game). I need to start drawing stuff that im influenced by more like shows and stuff. I would love to keep working on World 81 but im getting exhausted so yeah. im not ditching it, i will still draw from it, but im just saying im not as actively working on it as i was in the beginning. once i finished the storyline and backstories, i got really bored with it WHICH WAS WILD FOR ME CAUSE I LOVE MY WORLD. So yeah. Off topic but i would really love to do an art book on World 81 or my art journey in general. (Kind alike Journey by Carles Dalmau, a HUGE INSPO for World 81 and my overall art) i would 100% recommend buying his book as it helped me so much in my Journey and i believe it would help many people. So goals for 2025. yeh. I really wanna paint a self-portrait of myself cause that would be SO COOL to have. Kinda like what Gawx did on YT awhile back. Another thing i want to do is get better with my markers which im doing and also excercise more. A helpful tool ive found to boost your motivation is a paper calendar hung on your wall that you can check off. I check off the days i draw and excercise which helps me actually GET THINGS DONE :D. Another thing i would LOVE to do is to start a YT channel where i tell stories from my life and also just rant about stuff i find interesting and basically my life. Kinda like Ice Cream Sandwich who i watch all the time. Theres alot of things i would love to work on: more world 81 digital art for a book, getting inspired more, maybe starting an insta with my parents' permission so i can start making money through commission other than just doing free art for people, and also, most importantly, reading my Bible more. I cannot express how important my want to read the Bible is as I struggle with being in God's word daily without going to Bible class. Ok you guys.
