Let’s get to the point. Murder Drones isn’t that great. I get that people like it because of the characters and the world building, but there are things that I think are problematic. Such as characters and world building. And other things. I started watching this show because I wanna know what’s all the fuss about. Plus my sister was watching it so I thought why not. And after watching the show (excluding the finale because it didn’t came out at the time), I was wondering why people like this show. Because it was DOWNRIGHT CONFUSING. How can ANYONE watch the show being so confused as to what just happened??? I sometimes even had to go to the comments to see what happened, and half of the people there also said they had to go there too. The pacing was WAY too fast. And did they HAVE to add jokes in every single situation? If they want a scene to be tense, I don’t think jokes can enhance that. The murder drones also look the EXACT SAME THING. I seriously can’t tell the difference between them (except for N). The hair styles didn’t help at all. Because they are the same shade of gray. How can I tell the difference. And I thought the Finale would make a bit more sense. Wrong. IT MADE THINGS TEN TIMES MORE CONFUSING. How can some dead human whose head got chopped off turn into some ugly mutant and eat everyone??? And when Uzi was summarizing things in the end to the class, I was so confused. Genuinely. And someone in the comments was like “oh that was such a perfect ending!! N wanting to draw manga and Uzi threatening the class was such a good idea!!” No, no it was NOT a good idea. Good thing that comment had only 200 likes. I even had the captions on (I like having the captions on to understand things better) and I still didn’t understand anything. Also, Uzi is kinda annoying with her “bite me” phrase and N being innocent is also annoying. I just wished it was more slower paced and easier to understand. And how they should describe things don’t would be easier as well. Like how did Uzi turn into some murder drone and form a core? How can a human form itself a core? Why are murder drones sensitive to the sun? If they did explain it, I missed it because it was so fasted paced. They should’ve also explored the characters backstories and make character developments. Since Uzi was the main character, I thought she was going to have a character development (like every other main character). But at the end of the Finale, I didn’t sense and development whatsoever (beside physically). They should delve deeper into the character’s individual stories, to make us feel more connected to them. To give them meaning. I mean, I get that Glitch, the company that created the show, had a limited budget and can only have 8 episodes since it’s an indie show, but I feel like that’s been wasted entirely. Everything was faced paced and confusing, and nothing made sense I’ve the course of the show. But hey, that’s my opinion. If you like the show, that’s fine. I incredibly disliked the show but whatever, I’m not gonna argue with you since that’s what people basically do these days. Always fighting against someone’s opinion. So irresponsible. I have high hopes for Glitch’s other show, The Amazing Digital Circus, however. It’s slow paced and easy to understand, characters actually sitting down and talking to each other (and meaningful conversations too, not throwing jokes every minute of the episode to get us confused). And bonus: we get character developments and delve into the characters stories and emotions!! Unlike their other show. And people wonder why Murder Drones don’t get much representation. And if you’re pretty much fired up at this point because omg Murder Drones is such a wonderful show and I’m a #1 big fan!! And decide to throw a huge comeback on me on other things I like then go ahead. Just make sure you actual watched/played the thing I like because I gave Murder Drones a chance too. And I gave it a big fat thumbs down in return.
