Instructions

To everyone for an amazing year on Scratch: Thank You. I've gotten to do things I've never done before. I've become a voice actor (Thanks to @therealcatnap_12 and @-OnlyTheBESTContent-). I've become a script writer (Thanks to @-OnlyTheBESTContent-) I'm making my own series (Thanks to all of the voice actors who auditioned for my series. Check it out at: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1109825046/) I've even reached 25 followers! (Thanks to everyone who has followed me so far) Notes and Credits is a memoir. Keep reading!

Description

When I first started Scratch in 5th grade, I was hooked. Scratch was fun. Even the tutorials I had to do that I can now do in my sleep were fun. Back then, I had a school account (@blue1502029). In 7th grade, I got curious about Scratch. I logged out of my account, but I couldn't remember the password to log myself back in. I was working on great projects. That crushed me. Then, I created this account. I started from scratch (pun intended). I started making games (yet to be released ;)). I made my own animation, which is still my most popular project. I had won contests. I had it all. But something was missing: The Community. I started like any scratcher: 0 followers. I looked at griffpatch (profile) and thought to myself: "I want to be him someday." One person started that journey: @BISHOP21. He was my first follower, and something like that hits someone differently. Even though he's offline, Thank You, @BISHOP21 . I play Minecraft a lot. So much so that I was looking through Scratch and noticed griffpatch had a paper Minecraft. I played that for a long time. Then, as I went further in, I noticed a newer project: @TheLeaderoftheMap's Minecraft. As I remember, the game was in version 0.1. He had the blocks and cursor. You could place blocks, but you couldn't break them. I stepped in and solved the problem. For a while, it was just me and him: two guys trying to make a good game. Then, another came. @777-pig. This guy made EVERYTHING. He made a player, random generation, UI, all of it. Now, we're working on other things within, like a body for the player. That was the first project that I collabed with. Thank You, @TheLeaderoftheMap . After that, things were slow. I was gaining followers. I was happy. As I was scrolling, I came across an animator that goes by the name of @therealcatnap_12. He was hosting auditions for a new series that he was making. I was the first to audition, I believe. He had hired me, and so begins the start of my VA career. Thank You, @therealcatnap_12 . Now, I'm not the most popular guy in school. I don't have a huge amount of friends, but no one hates me. A lot of people just couldn't care less. I was fine with that. Scratch made me feel popular. Specifically, the community. While not a lot of people view my projects, big numbers like 30 views mean a lot to me. Furthermore, here's another number that is important to me: 25. I recently reached 25 followers. When I first looked at my followers and noticed that, I almost cried. That was a huge milestone for me, and I truly appreciate every single one of my followers. Thank You, Scratch Community. Traveling back to my VA career, recently I came across another series (more so, a trailer for one). The creator needed help making it. I offered to VA for him, and I was hired. After a while, I offered to help with script writing. And so began my script writing career. The Scratcher I'm talking about is @-OnlyTheBESTContent- . He was the first person to make me a script writer. I felt proud to help make a series that could very well be one of the greatest. Thank You, @-OnlyTheBESTContent- . Finally, I've requested to join a newspaper (on Scratch). If I'm accepted, I'm going to be a writer. Check out the newspaper at: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1115176364 In short, I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has made 2024 a very special year for me. I truly appreciate everyone. Hopefully, 2025 will be even better. Who knows? I might even reach 50 followers! Only time will tell... Happy New Year my fellow Scratchers! Sincerely, Meme_Coder_101
