Instead of creating a New Year's resolution, I usually take some time to reflect on what I'm most grateful for in my life. Honestly, this year I don't need to think about what I'm most grateful for, because I know exactly what--- or rather, "who" --- that would be: my best friend Casper. When I met Casper over 2 years ago, I had no idea how much of an impact they'd have on me. My life feels so much happier with them in it. They've supported me in everything that I've been through in the last two years, and is the only person at my school that knows how to calm me down during a panic attack. They help me see the beauty in myself and embrace every mistake that I've made. They encourage and push me to do my best and offer help when I'm struggling. They understand me better than anyone I've ever known. If I could spend every second of every day with Casper to the day I d13, I wouldn't hesitate to do so. They mean everything to me and so much more.
