Well, here we have it!! 2024’s been a beautiful year, but of course, like most things on this planet, it’s come to an end. :-) We lived through a remarkable year in history, from the 2024 Paris Olympics to all the crazy elections that took place all over the world! But despite the chaos, I’ve truly loved everything about this year. I feel like, from 12 to 13 years old, I acquired an unfathomable amount of knowledge, and my mind is constantly blown away with life and how incredible it is. Additionally, I feel like this year has really changed me in a way I truly could never express. It’s truly been the best year of my life in my 13 years of living so far :D Yes, I’ve made a hell of a lot of mistakes, but the people in my life have helped me understand humanity so much more, and in turn I’ve used these mistakes to shape myself better for the future. I’ve made so many wonderful memories (and took the bad ones away). The optimism in my mind has grown even stronger, and I feel like I can do anything I put my mind to. Without the help of others, I could’ve never imagined being able to do this. A huge takeaway I’ve gotten from this year is that in times of adversity when you feel like life is impossible, trust yourself, and if you can, the people around you. Friends, your family, teachers, or heck, even anyone here on Scratch. There’s a whole world out there full of caring, loving, supportive people who want you to succeed and will root for you. No matter what the weather is or how you feel, just know you are capable of awesomeness, because everyone really is in their own way. :D Anyways, I’m writing this with a bunch of screaming boys in my headphones. Like every new year, I’m playing Fortnite with the boys right now. So I’ll see you later, and catch you all in 2025. You’re awesome.
