Now It's Time For One Of The Most Smartest, Most Useful Engine On The Line, AKA James! slim boiler boi he's still a class 28/29, but he's a prototype with a slim boiler. //HISTORY\\ he was a prototype for the class 29, a variant of the class 28 with an extended running board, making it a 2-6-0, he was built in 1912, and shipped of to the NWR in 1913. but, 2 years after he was built, Sent out to contribute in ww1. this left James a VERY different engine. he was quiet, and kept to himself. he still worked very hard. this phase would pass in 1929, but THEN he would be sent to ww2, where he met Edward. together, they braved it out alive, and James comforted Edward while Edward was recovering from world war 2. the two became close friends, and after James's accident in 1949, he got his famous red paint and became the most splendid engine on sodor, and from there he got his famous splendid personality! //fun facts!\\ James is arrow ace. he does not feel attracted to anyone. (besides himself because his overwhelming confidence) James has little to no memory about his L&YR days, besides knowing what the livery looked like.
