Instructions

Set the slider values to one of these two sets side length Level 1 13 5 10 Click on the green flag. You can play with other slider values but these give, in my opinion, the best results.

Description

In Michael Crichton's novel, Jurassic Park, 'chaos theory' is an element of the plot. He also uses illustrations of the iterations of the Dragon curve fractal as chapter headings. The point the author is making with his numbered iterations of the Dragon curve as chapter headings is that even though you know the instructions for making any level of the curve, the instructions are not predictive. In other words, you can’t predict the future from the known rules. You actually have to construct it, a level at a time, to see what every higher level looks like. Therefore, surprises are to be expected! And, in the book and the movie, shocking surprises are what the builder (and other characters) of Jurassic Park got! The Dragon curve is also associated with paper folding and Lindenmayer systems. Dimension = 2
