also here’s a quick story! When i was 4 years old i was at a gas station with my mom. She told me to stay in the car, but when she wasn’t looking, she went around the car to talk to my dad. I got out of the car and walked up to the gas pump that was currently in the car fueling it. I took the gas pump out of the car and the gasoline didn’t stop coming out of the pump. It ended up, spraying me in the face and got in both of my eyes. when my mom realized what had happened, She ran me into the gas station and tried to wash it out while the person working at the gas station had called the fire department. by the time the fire department had gotten there the shoes I was wearing “ goofy plastic princess shoes” don’t judge me. I don’t wear stuff like that now, but I was really young ok? Anyway, the plastic shoes were literally melting from the gasoline. when I got into the fire truck I went and took a shower at the fire station to get the gasoline off of my skin. I should’ve gone blind, but I didn’t. I’ll never know why I didn’t go blind, but I’m really glad I didn’t because I grew up to be an artist And you may or may not need your eyes in order to do that. :)
