Merry Christmas everyone! Christmas is a truly special time of year. But why is that? Often we get caught up in our celebration, and forget the true meaning of the holiday; what it is really all about... Our Creator made a perfect world; but humans chose sin and that broke it. This world was full of darkness and was in desperate need of a Savior. God answered and sent that Savior - Jesus, who is one with Him. The very Creator of all, humbled himself so low, from being the highest, to coming to earth fully human, to dying on a cross to take on the burden of all our sin. But on the third day He came to life, defeating sin and death forever! Now we have salvation in Jesus; if we believe in Him and follow Him, He will give us the gift of eternal life! Even though we will face many hardships in life, we can keep going, knowing that in the end God will make all things new, and with the hope that Jesus has given us.
