They'd spend most of the night outside. When they were an adult, they didn't spend as much time outside as they used to. They decided to bring their best friend to the frozen lake one day, which ended up being a terrible mistake. Their friend stepped out into the center of the lake and the ice shattered beneath their feet and their friend plunged into the freezing cold depths below. Cosmo dived in to try and save their friend, but it was too late, once they got to the bottom, all they found was their friend, l¡fləss and unmoving. Cosmo's body was shaking from the cold of the lake and their lungs were screaming for air. But they couldn't move. They were scared of what they found. When Cosmo managed to move, they realised they wouldn't be able to make it to the top in time. It went dark. When they woke, they found themselves surrounded by cats they didn't know with worried expressions on their faces. As years passed Cosmo never forgave themself for what happened that day.
This was fun. Only took a few hours to do.
