I'm here because I'd like to invite you to make your own character for my comic, Seven Lost Lords! Let's go over the rules: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ {} EVERY character you enter MUST be an aetyr, a special species I created solely for this comic. Information about them and references for creating your own aetyr can be found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1022380944/ {} An aetyr/aetyrim can have either a Black Mane or a White Mane. They cannot dye them any colors. Male aetyrim have longer manes, smaller ears and a ring of fluff around the tip of their tails. Female aetyrim have shorter manes, larger ears and no fluff around their tail tips. (For the sake of simplicity I will not be accepting most genderfluid characters. You can still enter a trans character but it is likely I won't use them) {} Now for names. An aetyr typically has a fantastical sounding name (i.e. Aven, Illesior, Kirune, Unydae, Dukalis, Dorai'Kur, etc.). They do NOT take names based solely off of everyday objects (i.e. Trout, Pine, Cloud, River, etc.). You can give an aetyr a name that could be used for a human, but only if the spelling differenciates from normalcy (i.e. Sophi, Xaevyr, etc.) {} If you want to add a pre-made OC of yours, just make them look like an Aetyr and give them a new name that sounds similar to those I listed above. You'll be good to go. {} Aetyrim are typically considered adults at 17, but feel free to make a character that's younger {} You can give your character at least one form of birth magic (and if you make your character a Sorcerer then up to three). Keep in mind that Black Manes will have stronger magic than White Manes, but don't make it overpowered. (i.e. Size manipulation, x-ray vision, slash magic [cut through anything], flight, invisibility, Beast Tamer [talking to animals], poison immunity, etc.). A: There isn't a set date at the moment, but it will likely open and close as needed. Q: Will my character be important in the story? A: Likely not. They will be used as filler in the backgrounds, but there is a small chance that they can have dialogue with a main character. Q: Are there any limits on color (i.e. eye, pelt)? A: Nope! Make it as creative as you like! Q: Should I give them a full name? A: It is preferable that you do. If they do not have a last name then I will make one for them Q: What are some positions I can give my character? A: It depends on the mane type. White Manes will go into positions associated with the working class, such as farming, shopkeeping, cleaning, etc. Black Manes tend to be the aristrocrats of the Aetyr society, so put them in higher positions, such as leadership roles. (I must add that it is extremely rare for a White Mane to be in a position of power, but this can happen if they are in close league with a Black Mane) Feel free to ask any questions!
