Hey! I’m Kit/Glitch, an agender who collects xenogenders! My identities kind of contradict each other; I’m agender, (which, unlike nonbinary is a lack of gender, not a neutral gender. They are different experiences!) I also have way too many xenogenders. So basically, I have no genders but also a ton of genders. Xenogenders are genders that are outside of the three genders that people normally think about (girl, boy, and nonbinary) and they’re in-betweens (demigenders, paragenders). Xenogenders are often connected to things we don’t normally associate with gender, such as animals or colors. Just because someone has a gender that is an object or animal doesn’t mean they believe they are that object- it just means that’s how that gender “feels!” Xenogenders are in no way meant to trivialize or make fun of transgender people- they’re just a different way of feeling gender than other people! Xenogenders can be connected to regular gender too! Cis people can use xenogenders and still be cis! So anyway, yeah.
