Seems like I finally got my account back. The past year has been a very difficult one but on a personal note I finally feel like I’m returning back to who I truly am. I won’t waste your time with details. SSBG has come a very long way since I wrongfully lost access to this account. It’s a long story but again, I won’t waste your time. All that matters is I’m back now and I’ve got a job to finish. I did originally plan to leave this site irrelevant of SSBG’s completion after I graduated but I’ve decided to pursue my other dreams whilst I finish SSBG. SSBG is the only thing keeping me here but I’m going to get it done. There are a lot of complexities to SSBG’s dev to the point where I didn’t end up making a three year development anniversary for the project. Later this month FroggBogg will upload a news log of her work on SSBG alongside her other project and Dino is going to add in Fox and Luigi which I am very grateful for. Though remaining bugs, unpolished content, DK, Jibanyan and the 4-5 missing stages I’ll likely have to include or fix myself. Frogg is including A LOT of content, mostly stuff from my menus like music and bios so expect the game mostly being finished around v13.2-13.5. I don’t know if BrickPlex will make those stages so whether or not Jolly Roger Bay, Emerald Coast or Shadow Moses Island get in as stages I am unsure of, same as a Bramble Scramble redesign, but I am pushing to have make sure Pokemon and StarFox get stages. The game is as of right now too big for Scratch and will be moved to Turbowarp meaning there will likely be an off-site download but I’m not too sure about this just yet, this will be sorted out in time but the limitations of Scratch are clear. Here’s hoping Scratch v4.0 will be big enough to run SSBG. SSBG is like 80% complete or on track to be at least 80-90% complete, but it seems like there is a lot of time for development of the remaining content. I’m aiming to get the game done before June 2025 since by mid 2025 I’m going to be too old for this site and too busy with adult projects or life in general to be on here anymore. Don’t worry, I’m not stressed or anything, I’m actually hyper chilled out right now! Just things are working themselves out and you should be congratulating FroggBogg and Dinostroid since they are the whole reason why SSBG is likely going to be completed. Regardless of what happens I don’t feel like SSBG will ever feel ‘complete’ to me but at least a complete Beta is a goal I can strive for so that one day the game can inspire someone else or for other developers to take SSBG and evolve the game to their liking. Peace out! Merry Christmas and have a happy new year!
