So, I watched the sonic movie yesterday. It doesn't feel real. At all. It feels so awesome, and fanmade, and it's crazy that it isn't lol. Definitely FELT like a sonic movie, action was amazing, my favorite part out of all of this was the fight near the end of the movie with sonic and shadow. ITS SO SO SO GOOD, I CRIED. And then when Shadow is like "Where are your friends? What was his name...Tom?" OMG HE DID NOT AAAAAAAAAAAA. I love the arcs in this movie, Shadow's is awesome. I love the analogy that even when someone is gone, you can still feel their love. Chef's Kiss. His backstory is handled super well, you can definitely tell the love put into this movie. I wish they would have gone into more detail about his past, but maybe that's going to be a Shadow spinoff or something. Sonic's arc too, also trying to get revenge, but ultimately realizing it's getting them nowhere. GOODNESS THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING *SOB* And then you have Eggman's arc, that one was done well too. That last part, where he's saying goodbye to Stone was heartbreaking (and amazing). Honestly, if that was the last time we see Jim Carry in these movies, I wouldn't be mad at all. Humans have way less time in the story, and it was really Just Tom, Maddie, Stone, and whoever the heck Kirsten Ritter was playing. Can we talk about that character? She was hyped up so much, and then ended up being kinda a nobody. Like, I don't think she ever resolved anything with Team Sonic lol. Oh right, and that post credits scene. That was really crazy XD Anyways, too much to talk about all in one, so I'll wrap this up. This is now my favorite movie ever. Shadow is still my favorite character ever, this movie reminds me of that so well. I love that the moral of the story, is to not let your circumstances change who you really are.
