Instructions

The moon emitted dim light that night, casting shadows on the empty city streets. It would be difficult for anyone to sneak around tonight. That's why Gregory had no worries of being caught. It would be difficult for people to sneak around at night, but a mouse? Easy. Now, if only he had someone working WITH him. It would be a lot easier to get in and out of places. Plus, Greg hated to be alone. Even though the human police weren't watching, they may have figured out another way to prevent schemes like this... or so he heard. What really scared him was that he had no idea what they could possibly try to do. He tried to banish these thoughts from his mind for now though. He had greater things that he must accomplish first. He ducked into the shadow of a wall though, just to be safe. He continued down the street for quite some time, wishing once again he had a partner who was much faster than he. It was difficult for a mouse to move very fast, with his tiny legs. He got to his target location after about 30 minutes of creeping along. There, a peculiar building stood in front of him. One would not usually find the building peculiar, it was just an ordinary Target. But to him it was so much more. He padded towards the double doors, aware that they would not open for him. He'd have to wait for them to let him in. --- Spy Cat waited inside for his target to come. The DASP (Domesticated Animal Spy Department) was trying something new, and he was their best bet at success. Spy Cat was one of their best agents. Of course, he couldn't do the mission alone. His companions were scattered throughout the store, waiting for their target. Agent Hadderson, a female golden retriever, was positioned by the office supplies. His other companion, Beetle the parrot, was waiting by the entrance. They noticed a little rodent sitting outside the doors. That must be their experiment. They started fluttering in front of the open doors, trying to create motion. The doors opened, revealing a white mouse sitting patiently. It had red eyes, so it must have been albino. "Are you Gregory Oakland?" They asked. "Sure am," Greg said. "Good," They said quietly. "Come with me. Please." Greg followed the parrot past multiple halls, the others waiting at the self-checkout. Beetle fluttered onto one of the cameras, looking down at Greg, which made him nervous. He did not want to be eaten by colorful pigeon. Hadderson padded up to Greg, staring him down. Normally, she would be intimidated. But she was not going to be scared by a rodent. Greg, on the other hand, was feeling quite uncomfortable around all these animals. Lucky for him, Hadderson would never hurt anyone. "Can I get my info now?" Greg asked. "Not quite," A voice said from behind him. Greg's eyes widened at the sight of the cat staring down at him. Dogs and parrots were okay, but a cat? The cat is known for eating the mouse. But Spy Cat wasn't interested in eating Gregory. "Gregory Oakland, I am Spy Cat from the Domesticated Animal Spy Department," He said. "And you are in a lot of trouble."
