Third was swiped at her feet by Green again, struggling to get up “Ow…” Red looked at her with a kind smile “Don’t worry! You’re improving! We can do more later!” She looked at him, her expression becoming more serious “No! I need to get better! I promise I can actually take one of you guys down!” Red flinched at her sudden behavior “Sorry, but you need to have breaks. We can try again in 3 hours. So you can recharge.” Third sighed, calming down a bit, her voice still filled with desperation “Please let me fight more! I can do better! I don’t want to take a break!” Blue saw a white shine starting in Third’s eye and instantly declined “Third, the shine is starting again. I’ll try the stabilizer me and Yellow worked on to postpone the hostility venom takeover. Come with me.” She reluctantly followed the both of them to the infirmary, where Blue pulled out a needle with a bright pink liquid. Yellow gave her a warm smile “You’ll be alright. It’s just going to be a quick injection.” Third instantly got afraid “Agh, no! C-Can you do something else? Like pills? Or liquid medicine?!” She was getting more terrified that she needed to be injected with a needle. Yellow shook his head “I’m sorry, but no. This is the only way so far. I’m still working with Blue to find out a permanent way, but using this as a way to temporarily stop it is the only way.” Third started trembling and hid herself under the blanket. “No… stay back..” Blue sighed “I’ll see if I have a shot blocker in my cabinet.” As he was searching, he noticed one of his herbs was gone. “Yellow, sweetie? Have you seen my Primula Somnus? The one that makes you sleep for 12 hours, a pretty extreme anesthesia.” Yellow shook his head. “No. And I haven’t seen Second in an hour and a half, either.” They both were hit with the realization. “I’ll take care of Second, deal with Third.” Yellow instantly ran out of the infirmary. Third took a peek from under the blanket, still terrified of the needle. Blue looked at her, his expression changing to be more gentle “Hey… it’s alright. I promise I won’t do anything bad.” He placed the shot blocker on Third’s arm and prepared the needle *** Second gotten used to his surroundings by now, it’s been a while since he dozed off. He doesn’t seem affected, just bored. Walking across the cold grassy fields, simply emotionless. Victim got extremely hurt from his actions, making him feel ashamed deeper down. Second found more trees, the area seemed to keep going on infinitely with slightly different changes. The trees weren’t like the one Victim was, they were in better condition. He saw something in the distance, and slowly walked up to it. It was some sort of creature. The one strikingly familiar to the one that bit his leg a while ago. Second just stared at it, but it wasn’t attacking. It let out a small defensive grow, but Second was quick to defuse the attack “I don’t want to hurt you. Just stay back, you monster.” The creature’s eyed narrowed and approached Second. It stared at him, sat on its knees and used its fingers to sign something. “Hm? What are you doing with your hands?” His voice was still seemingly emotionless and cold, Second lost most of his sense of self from his time here. The figure stood up, ten feet tall and lead Second somewhere. The walk was long, and the breeze was eery and cold. After what seemed like two hours of walking, the green grass was turning black, and the sky was getting darker, and everything was getting more creepy. *** Third was trembling and immediately put the blanket back over herself once the needle touched her, Blue sighed “Hey. I know this is hard for you. But I don’t want to see you under the hostility venom again. I care about you, and I want to make sure you’ll be alright. This’ll be over quickly, I promise.” Third hesitatingly put her arm out, and Blue pressed down on the shot blocker and injected the stabilizer in her, it barely felt like anything. “I’m done.” Third was still shaking, and Blue put a bandaid on her like it was nothing. She looked up at him and got out of the bed. “I-I… Blue, I’m so sorry for that… I just can’t…” She hugged him, and Blue gently smiled and rubbed her back “Hey, it’ll be alright…” Yellow suddenly burst into the room with Second in his arms, who looked both asleep and high. “I found him in his room, with the Primula Somnus on the floor… can you inject him with something?!” Blue quickly let go of Second, and pulled out a different syringe with bright orange-yellow liquid. *** Second followed the creature, and the green grass was fading into black and there were black trees with even darker leaves. “Is this… the Midwinter Gloom? Where Victim is?” it nodded, and continued leading Second. He rubbed the flowers on his face, regaining some emotion as he slowly entered the forest, after two steps, he suddenly felt himself back in the real world. Second looked around himself, as he was in the infirmary. Lost, he stared down. (N&C)
The entire color gang was in the infirmary by now “SECOND! WHAT HAPPENED?! ARE YOU OKAY?” Red yelled out, pulling him to the side “W-WE WERE SO WORRIED!” Yellow added, Second’s ears were ringing and tuning their voices out and as he continued to space out, he felt… nothing. He was so close to actually getting to potentially save Victim, but again his friends got in his way. He quickly snapped out of his trance once he saw Blue crying “S-Second… I’m so sorry that we seem like bad friends to y-you… but we care! I don’t w-w-want you to drug and harm y-yourself over this!” Yellow went over to comfort him, and Second sighed “No, it’s my fault. I went too insane over this… but… I know where we need to go next.” Song: SNUFFY - Cheesy HFJ
