The Crystal Mall is a two level shopping mall in Waterford, Connecticut. It was opened in 1984 with the anchors of Sears, Jordan Marsh, Filene's, and JcPenney. That Jordan Marsh became Macy's in 1996. The mall had renovations done in 1997. Filene's closed in 2006. A Christmas Tree Shops store opened in 2007. Sears closed in 2018, Macy's in 2021, and JcPenney on February 9 (my 13 bday :)) 2024, making all of the stores closed. This Christmas could be this mall's last.
