So, Featherstar sure was silly in this last chapter. When you see '[next]' use the right arrow key, spacebar, or click to go to the next image. Most of this theory is going to be based of another theory I made about the memory cave/the wolf (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1067925239/) but here’s a basic summary. I believe that Featherstar will use Salmonpaw as a way to get information out of the wolf, who I assume to be Cobweb. [next] Why do I think this? First off, when Feather first hears about Salmonpaw having poofed, she barely seems worried. In fact, she seems perfectly chill, only slightly stressed. Her reaction to a child disappearing into thin air is about the equivalent to our reaction when someone spills some water on a wooden floor. However, when Redeye tries to interfere with her decision to separate Salmon from Vole and Breezy, she seems legitimately cold, worried, and irritated. What most of my last theory talked about was how I assumed Featherstar would use Salmon to further a (currently unknown) agenda by putting her back into the memory cave and using her to better her relationship with the wolf and the current cats controlling Shadowclan. [next] Because of this, I believe that Feather will introduce Salmon to her amazing, flawless, perfect kits and begin to start lightly manipulating her to get the dirty work done. She may lie to Salmon’s face, saying that Vole and Breezy abandoned her because she ‘wasn’t fit for the adventure’ or ‘was too weak’. Salmon isn’t stupid, so she may not believe this at first, but after seeing Vole completely refuse to talk to her, she may feel betrayed, which is perfect for Feather to get her way. I think it would be really interesting if, because Vole refused to talk to her, Salmon got really bitter, and because of this took it out of Breezy when he tried to reach out to her against Feather’s orders. This would also explain what Meadow was talking about when saying ‘see how much longer you’ll excuse her for’. It may be easy to pardon a villain who truly believes they’re doing the right thing, but manipulating a child for your own agenda is a cold and horrible thing to do. Art, story, and characters by @Meadowfoot_ToPH Sorry for not making these for a bit. This is the time of year when I’m busiest and seasonal depression doesn’t help :’D
