Educational Project: An Eye Into the Past: The Shakarites. Recently, a carving was found in a cave under Monk City. Our dating estimates the carving was made in 2,500 BC. What is that figure near the cat? It's a Shakarite. What's a Shakarite you are asking? The Shakarites are an ancient race of cats, who were taller than normal cats, and had black fur. They could have even rarely appear to have red eyes. The Shakarites began their kingdom in 6,150 BC in the Nasilik Desert. It was during these days the Shakarites were in their golden age. Kingdom after kingdom collapsed to their sheer might. But in 4,500 BC the peoples of the Nasilik Desert defied them, and the golden age of the Shakarites ended. The Shakarites scattered. The next 700 years was a time of decline. What was once a mighty empire, was reduced to just a few small tribes. Disease, major temperature change, and being hunted down made them decline. But those 700 years were not the end of the Shakarites. After the 700 years, in 3,800 BC, the Shakarites began to rise back to their former glory. The tribes united as a League, under the rule of the Grand Shakar. This alliance of tribes, though not as strong as the Shakaritic Empire before, helped the Shakarites to survive for thousands of more years, that is, until Medieval times. Catkind had continued their relentless attacks on the Shakarites, and they were only a fragment of their former glory. They fled to the Nasilik Desert, and united the league temporarily. They named their new Empire, Shokron. You heard me right. Shokron. Isn't that similar to Sokron? In 1492 AD, 12 nations united as a League, and built Monk City, just south of the Shakarites. The League of Nations formed to oppose the militia of Shokron, because they realized how powerful it was becoming. In 1634 AD, a Shakarite prince was born that would forever change history. Bonaparte, the tyrant. Bonaparte became Grand Shakar at age 16 in 1650 AD. And he began to round up his troops. For 44 years, the Grand Shakar expanded his militia. It was 1694 AD, and it was time to conquer the League of Nations. Bonaparte and his massive armies fought the League for a whole year, and in the end, Bonaparte began occupying Monk City itself. The Monk Council went underground...literally, right under Monk City. The Monk Council began rounding up rebels to fight Shokronian forces. After 5 years, the Arch-Monk led 5,700 men against Bonaparte and his 15,000 Shakarites. The battle seemed impossible to win. But in the end, Bonaparte was slained, along with most of his army. That year was 1700 AD. This was the end of all Shakarite Kingdoms. The Shakarites were no longer found. Or were they gone forever? There are a few things to note. Bonaparte is Sogran's last name. And who are the Pro-Shakarites that appear in the late 1800s? The answer is simple. Shakarites are the same species as us, so we can breed with them. The Shakarites interbred with catkind. The reason why there are no more Shakarites is because they bred with us. Why did Sogran, Brackon, and Johnathan Ug sometimes all have strangely colored eyes? Because they have the blood of the Shakarites within them. The Pro-Shakarites were the descendants of the Shakarites. So that the is story, this definitely adds depth.
