Chosen by the mother are gender, eye colour, pelts and possibly wings. The kit-mother / queen must have a relationship with another cat or a different character of their own with ANY gender. The m8 can help decide when to release a new litter and sometimes the personality of the kit. He or She can also help decide the pelt colour, eye colour and gender.
