Yep, I'm done with 8 pages of the prologue and are still making more. Oh, did you think it was 8 full frames of Scratch, like most comics? No, of course not! I mean 8 full PAGES, as in 7.5/11 sheets of paper which are drawn in a traditional comic style. My plan for the reboot is to try and stick with that to put extra content per chapter in. Everything from the original comic is canon in terms of major plot points (Winter being in a coma, Lizard doing evil(?) things, whatever else) with some stuff being altered or retconned (Mist will stay at the academy, the Ice Dragons are not going to take away students and Mist will have a different reason for leaving). Characters will be expanded upon so they have more than two traits and interact with each other (How many dragons did Mist, one of the major characters, interact with? Lizard? I believe they both only interacted with Dune and The Voice (although Mist did interact with Solstice, but that's besides the point)). I absolutely hate how everything was more tell-don't-show in the original. Thus, I hope to make SAFUD more like Swift Fire (another comic, you should go read it): Fewer characters with an aim on them and their pasts, with the world being an uncertain backdrop. As you can guess, as soon as the first chapter releases, cameos will be closed. I might reach out to you for adjusting your cameo since I plan on changing some rules on how powers work, as yes, the world will be build. Stay tuned!
