USS Hoga is one of the only surviving ships to actively participate in the Pearl Harbor attack. It helped USS Nevada get beached, and was active during the attack. It also fought fires on USS Arizona. After the attack, Admiral Chester Nimitz commended the ship and its crew for what they did. In 1948 it became the fireboat of the Port of Oakland, and served as such until 1994. It has been a static display ship in Arkansas since 2015.
This project was made to commemorate the attack on Pearl Harbor, which happened 83 years ago come December 7. The march is John Philip Sousa's "Anchor and Star".
