The main protagonist is Pine, a brown bird with a crest like a cardinal or blue jay. The main antagonist is Chestnut, she is just like Pine, but she's Pine's mean mother, and her colors are reddish. Pine received a disturbing message from a crystal that makes him uneasy about his mother. Chestnut is gonna set the world on fire! But why??? Pine doesn't stop to think about that question, and immediately flies away to try to escape, but he ends up at a wrong turn. To find out more, read the actual series!
