I'm a self-taught artist and author, as long as being a celloist. What are some words to describe me? Well, I have a wonderful little list for you. I am silly, rebellious, chaotic, odd, and very, very, verrrryyyyyy cheery. A little too much if you ask me. Rping is my favorite thing to do next to reading and drawing, although those are really close seconds. I absolutely love music and playing around with people, even though I'm terrible at socializing and social interaction. Anyway, I'm so excited to get to the application so I'd better shush now. // child? why? // kit > Duskkit why > Glad you asked! Well, I just love this little child! I love his color pallete, for one. The browns just make me feel happy, especially with those bright little orange eyes. Also, I desperately need a child. I have been needing a new child in Gens for a couple months now, but I didn't connect with any of the kits in the litter hub until I saw this little guy, so I know I just have to try for him. Reason number three is that I haven't had a FlurryClan char in almost 1.5 years, and I miss FlurryClan. It's where my first char was, and I loved being in FlurryClan, so I want to come back. I was so happy in Flurry with my little child that first time, and I want to experience that again, with a new kit. Plus, I need to get away from MossClan, too much exposure to that clan is not good for you. // rp experience // > Oh boy, do I have some words to talk (type?) at you. I've been in Gens for a while now, almost 1.5 years, and I've developed a lot in that time. I'm also in several other rps such as Hidden Skies, The Silver Shores, and a couple others. I've been rping for about 3 years and I love it. I've rped probably 100+ chars in my scratch-time, all being entirely different and challenging to rp in their own ways. In Gens specifically, I've had four chars, Hornetcharm (my little boi, I miss him so much), Torrentkit, Kiwisplash, and Orchiddusk. I've learned a lot from them. Also, before I go on, I'd just like to say that I prefer messages at least a comment long, but I'll usually always match the sized paragraph the other rper is doing. // activity levels // ?/10 > 7-8/10 why > I love scratch, but I'm not allowed to always be on it. I have school and homework and other thingies, so I'm not on 100% of the time, but I always make sure to be on scratch for at least an hour every day, so I can reply to all my rping messages and get my daily dose of fun. During summer break, I usually go up to a 9/10, but that's a while off. Although, when I have a Gens char, I'm usually on a bit more so I can rp, so there's that, which is probably how I dragged it up to a maybe 8. // longevity // > I'll be so honest with you, I have a very terrible habit of getting my Gens chars killed early, usually too early for my liking. BUT, I've been working on not doing that. I promised myself that I'd keep my next char out of terrible danger to try keeping them. I will try to keep Duskkit until he's at least had a couple litters of kits or until he's at least a senior warrior. I will try to take as few risks as possible, because I really do love FlurryClan, and I know if I lose my next Flurry cat I'll probably be stolen back by MossClan, it's inevitable. So, I'll try to refrain from my normal reckless behavior. Plus, my idea for his personality will probably keep him from most danger. // gender + sexuality // gender > Dusky is going to stay male using he/him pronouns through his entire kithood and apprenticeship, but as a warrior he's going to have a shift in his being, and take a small step away from that gender, using he/they pronouns for a bit before following his gut and declaring himself a demiboy and taking the pronouns he/they/it. sexuality > Demiromantic, Uranic // personality // (+): Calm, Clear-headed, Conciliatory (=): Serious, Unpredictable (-): Blunt, Secretive, Inexpressive > Duskkit is a very odd kit, being very unlike other kits his age in the way that he's the one solving conflicts and staring other cats down with his sharp glance. He's not a very emotional cat on the outside, keeping his features blank and hiding his true feelings behind a mask created out of fear. On the outside, he seems like the kind of cat who wouldn't care whether he made a cat cry or not, maybe even the cat who would make other's cry intentionally, but truly, he does care, even if it's buried under layers of his defenses. The one thing he doesn't control with perfect precision is his words, which have no filter whatsoever. He speaks what he thinks, no softness or niceties added, no matter how harsh it is. He's wonderous at staying in control of himself, even when anger would blind another cat, he stays calm and collected and goes through the problem logically, not acting on impulse and fury. -
// personality cont. // - He doesn't really get mad very often either. Solving issues is what he's best at, between himself and other cats, no matter who it is. He's very good at working things out so everyone's happy. Following rules and orders come pretty easy to him, and he holds on tight to his beliefs. Dusky holds on tight to his allegiances, in a way that would say he'd do anything, no matter what, for those he's loyal to. Except, he's not really who he seems to be. Duskkit hates conflict and loves solving problems, and is quite good at it, but he isn't the cool-headed, quiet cat he seems to be. Underneath, Duskkit is a very clever, grinning tomkitty with a love for fun, not that anyone ever gets to see that side of him. ever. // rp examples // (see comments) // codeword // Sweeping the barren porch, they sighed tiredly, eyes dull.
