was in the mood to design dragons and I just KNOW im never using these designs so im putting them here !!! STARS - this guy is inspired by old astrology drawings (things like moon cycles and diagrams), esp from old islamic world if you want to find more refs for aesthetic! - the moon cycle goes all along their face, the new moon on the top, quarters on each cheek, and the full moon down the snout (treating the dark markings as shadows) - weeeird wobly bridge of snout... -------------------------------------------- 2. BUD - think that georges rochegrosses painting but dark (what am i SAyinggg) - def redesign that armor stuff if you know what yur doing LOLL - head is a flower, the nose would be where the stem is - almost alphonse mucha esque vine/plant patterns, feel free to absolutely COVER them in vines - where a wing would b theres a flower bud :3 -------------------------------------------- 3. DEW based off of those curly tendril plant things that collect a lot of dew- thats why their neck is like that. Also spiderwebs and dew and sthufff - wearing a bunch of dewdrop jewelry (ADD MORE!!!!), maybe make them actual jewels or make them just straight up magic water idc - their frills are BIG and crownlike!!! go sooo regal and flamboyant - cape cloaak thing is opt OK i think thats it comment if i missed something -------------------------------------------- Please don't steal, trace, or heavily reference my art/designs in any way.
