She knows how to fight, because of facing many rouges on her way. Once, some rogues attacked her so badly that she was knocked unconscious, and was like that for some time, until Dampleaf came and saved her, at the cost of his voice. After she got up, Dampleaf took care of Rubybranch like a friend, which might be why Rubybranch likes him. After Dampleaf taught her the code, Rubybranch became his interpreter(revealed in later chapters). Today, she assists Dampleaf in translating his stories and is loved by many. Some cats might like her, but she always wants to be with Dampleaf.
