So if you saw my future drawing contest project, I have an “finale” drawing contest in September and there was somebody who questioned me if I was going to leave and I said that I will make an project about it, so here’s that project. @MrSamiam08 may be (possibly) retiring from Scratch next year in September, but for now I’m staying until then! So don’t worry about me going anyway yet. There are multiple reasons why I’m retiring from scratch. The primary reasons why is because I’m getting older in life and I got to work more on my college future. There are also some smaller things but they are rather nitpicks than anything so I will share them at the end. So if you don’t know, I’m an 16 year old autistic boy from Florida and I’m getting older and more mature about stuff, especially now I’m in high school and I’m gonna be an young adult in only an year and a half from now and graduating from school in 2026, and I honestly feel like Scratch is childish since it’s a KIDS program where i mainly used to have fun talking to people in the community and art commissions for artists I know, but nowadays, It’s the site for sadness and anxiety but at the same time, It contains joy and peace in my chaos life of high school, and plus I’m gonna be senior next school year. An another reason I’m possibly retiring from scratch is because I need to start planning on my college career in the theme park industry as an engineer in coaster designing, and being on an silly little site isn’t really the best way to learn how to get into college and learn about design. QwQ Some other minor nitpicks like scratch being broken like crazy (SERIOUSLY SCRATCH FIX YOUR SITE), Some very rude users (I’m not listing who but you know who you are), YTP vids being successful, and some other stuff i could list. So yeah, I could be possibly retiring from Scratch next September in 2025.
