Following a brief diplomatic talk, purchasing the K-88 and chambering it in 150mm Manchu arose, as opposed to 160mm Sappoto. The purchase was approved for 5000 guns, a steep price, and effectively pulverizing the 'expendable' military budget for the rest of the year. The new T98 is part of a larger project to produce a new main cannon, drawing much influence from the K-88. Overall most Manchus like the T98.
