Description

*CRACKS MY KNUCKLES* Long, long ago before cheems and rainbow bees, the higher being wrote the bees and cheems into existence. She was the true highest deity of the universe, and all ways of life were made by her. Her name was lost to time, but the older beings whisper her name in the voids of space, where nobody can hear them... The cheems and the rainbow bees lived in harmony. The cheems kept the bees safe, and the bees provided the cheems delicious and gooey, honey too eat for the winter world was all but paradise for any creature who entered. Their world was safe and diverse, and there was always resources to utilize. The psychedelic colors of the rainbow bees drew the cheems in, and the bees were attracted by the cheems' unusual intelligence. The two races advanced, their fates intertwined as they plowed on through life. Though no other species was as smart as they were, they praised and helped their smarter counterparts. Religious temples were constructed, and a religion centering around the Great Cursor was eventually formed. According to myth, the Cursor floats around mindlessly just out of sight, on a plane they could not see, altering the universe and world around it. But some argued that the Cursor was only a mere vessel for something bigger, a puppet to a higher power. A new religion formed, one that worshipped and bowed to the higher powers above that were truly changing their world. thus, two religions separated: Cursorism and Vesselism. Though some arguments broke out, the two groups settled and mended their past wrongs. Interestingly, most cheems seemed to be Vesselists as opposed to a higher Cursorist population in the bees. A mutual peace was reached throughout the land. The cheems and rainbow bees, were herbivores (and geovores, in the energy, bee’s cases) anyways, and the animals wouldn't dare get on the bad side of the intelligent powers. War was unheard of and battles were as rare as a second sun. Beings outside of the cheems' and rainbow bee's understandings murmured and whispered about the fates of the two races... Nothing can be good forever, though. Unfortunately, a sick, twisted type of rainbow bee known as a godbee wriggled her way into their homes. Her mind was darker than everybody else's, and she whispered promises of a better, more powerful life into the ears of the arrogant bees Slowly, her following grew. She sent army after army, trying to eradicate the cheems. In the first battle fought in over ten eons, the rainbow worms were kept at bay; literally. The cheems drove them to the ocean, and drove them off of the continent. But worlds are round, not flat. The rainbow bee army made its way all the way around to the other side and ambushed Worm City. Over 18,000 casualties occurred on both sides, but the cheems won. In the second battle, they were not so lucky. The worms attacked from the north. The cheems, adapted for warm weather, were unable to hold them back for long, and the bees won the battle, taking Sight City. For a long time, the war remained like this. Territories were won and lost, but for the most part the cheems kept the major cities in their power while the worms captured smaller cities and towns. Also, most of the farmland was under worm rule, which limited the cheems' food supply. A total of 3,000 estimated deaths occurred in the first month of the war from famines alone. The cheems refused to eat other animals; the worms were more barbaric, and expanded their appetite, growing their population by shrinking other's. All hope is not lost. The cheems were not defenseless. They built strong, unbreakable glass barriers. Only the touch of a deity like the Great Cursor could remove them. The cheems were safe...Sort of. Cheems City, bee City, The Marketland, and Sight City all had bee-proof glass barriers erected around them. Other, smaller cities under cheems rule were evacuated and moved to camps on the outskirts of the inside of the glass walls. Praying for safety, the cheems waited to see if the glass would work. To the delight of their leader, King Doge, it kept the bees back. For now. The cheems huddled behind the walls, holding their pups tight. Why would the worms do this to them? Only a small few cheems knew what started the war, but nobody seemed interested in hearing about it since the cheems attention span is around 5 seconds. (by the way, if you made it this far then consider your attention span better than 99% of cheems AND rainbow bees!) Driven by mad power, the never-ending wave of godworms relentlessly tormented the cheems, hoping that one of them would be foolish enough to let one in... You are the true higher being behind the Great Cursor. You can keep the cheems alive, or raze their cities to the ground. Their legacy rests in your hands. Do you save them? Or do you let the Godbee sway you?
