I have recently discovered the song Wild Things by Alessia Cara and have become completely obsessed. I love the idea of beating to your own drum and embracing your inner wild thing. In honor of this, I thought it would be fun to host a MAP using this song! That's where you all come in :) (Parts already taken are shown in Notes & Credits) =====================Logistics====================== + This song is an anthem for self identity. It is about individuality, self-expression, and being proud of who you are. So I want the theme of the MAP to reflect this. If you have a part, create something that you are proud of, something that reflects your own inner wild thing :) + There are 18 parts up for grabs. Depending on how much interest there is, people may have the opportunity to do more than one part. So if you are interested in two parts, cool! Just comment which parts you might want to do (saying the one you want the most first), and I'll let you know later if you can do both parts after I see how many people are interested in participating. + I will do both the intro and the ending, so if you take part 1 or part 18, don't worry about introducing/closing the project + Pieces of the song have been cut up into parts. When you know that you will be doing a part, remix this project so I can keep track of all the different pieces. (I'll confirm with people to let them know which parts they have) + Please be sure to LABEL all your sprites/backgrounds according to which part you have. Here is my MAP part for @Ceebee's amazing MAP! :D Music is Wild Things by Alessia Cara Anyway, notes for Ceebee: I hope you like it! I really took what you said by an anthem to self identity and inner wild thing to heart with this. I really found this song and part quite inspiring. >^_^< I have one sprite (That's how I role XD) and one backdrop, which is just black. All you need to do is delete a block (I put a note attached to it) inside the animation sprite and you should be all set! >^_^< (Oh, and as for that art sprite that you mentioned, thats the one named NovaDragon in there. >^_^< ) I was going to leave a (not so) brief overview of what's happening in this animation, but then I decided against it. I'll leave that up to you all to decide. >^_^< However, I'll give you this: Nova is a Queen of a lovely kingdom, but independent as she is, she's always abandoning it to go on adventures. Sometimes she even forgets about it, for a very, very long time, and so she has to get pulled back to lead her kingdom once more.... And only one person knows how to do that... I was also going to leave a really long and inspiring speech here, but I'll hold on to that too. ^_^ All I'll say is that what I gave you above, represents many, many different things. Rant time! Originally, I had animated this in vector, but then at the very end it started acting up on me with the sizing, so I had to convert all my lovely costumes to bitmap... I hope it turned out okay! The traveler represents someone... I'm not going to say who... I'm not even entirely sure who..... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
